Nancy Crowden one of the founder members of the popular Thursday weekly coffee mornings, normally held in the Old Chapel has sadly died aged 92. Nancy ran the village shop for many years alongside her daughter Sue McLaughlin who ran the post office and along with Mavis Harpers mother originally from Fowey they set up the coffee mornings during the 1980's. Nancy in recent years had been living with her daughter and had always kept up with village news. Funeral is on Monday 7th December at Treswithan Downs Crematoriam at 3.00pm. The village is being represented by Dick Brunwin who will be attending.

Two local volunteers, Ann Rogers and Jill Polglase have been making masks for a group calling themselves Cornwall Cloth Masks and the time is now right to offer the masks locally. If you want to order any contact chair@godolphincross.community or ring/text to 07479 969 334. The masks are free but if anyone wants to make a donation to the GCCA that would be most welcome.
